The Bluline Mental Health Navigator, in partnership with Resilient Minds, is here to support the mental health and well-being of police personnel and their families.
We offer a confidential and pro-active service designed to quickly help you identify your needs and connect you with the most appropriate support and treatment pathways. Our expert assessments include personalised support plans, clear signposting to mental health resources and evidence-based treatments, and practical advice for return-to-work or educational adjustments.
We prioritise early intervention and confidential support, ensuring you receive timely and effective guidance to improve your mental wellbeing and navigate any challenges you may face.

Bluline Mental Health Navigator gets you to the right service at the right time. It is available to all Bluline members and includes:
Our qualified mental health professionals conduct thorough assessments to to evaluate individual needs. The initial assessment is conducted remotely by a third-party, reducing the stigma associated with seeking help from within the organisation.
Following your assessment, you will receive a personalised support plan outlining recommended resources and mental health treatments. Early intervention and proactive support to help you get effective guidance can help prevent mental health concerns from becoming more serious.
We provide clear guidance and referrals to evidence-based therapies and to overcoming barriers to accessing treatment. This may include recommendations for evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
We offer practical advice and recommendations for reasonable adjustments to facilitate a smooth transition back to the workplace or to help keep you at work.
Recognising the interconnectedness of family wellbeing, we offer resources and support for the families of police personnel including children aged 12 and over.
Your privacy is paramount. All assessments and interactions are conducted with strict confidentiality, adhering to all relevant data protection regulations.
Claims submission -
To access the service please submit a mental health claim through the standard Bluline claims process.
Steps -

Contact the Bluline administration office to let us know that you may need to initiate a mental health claim. Call 01905 796682 or submit your enquiry.
Bluline will complete a standardised referral form, and pass it to Resilient Minds.

A mental health administrator will contact you within one working day to schedule your assessment.
Assessments are typically scheduled within two working days of initial contact.

Following your assessment, a detailed report will be prepared and shared with you, and with other relevant parties upon your consent.
